King Tut: Putting the Reality into the Virtual

Prior to this lesson, students should have some background knowledge of ancient Egypt and how religion impacted the lives of ancient Egyptians. Throughout this lesson, students will have the opportunity to explore King Tut’s tomb through Virtual Reality and the artifacts in the tomb. Pharaohs and others, were burred with material possessions, which were believed to be of use to the person in the afterlife. Therefore,  students will  examine these possessions and provide justifications for why those artifacts were included in the tomb.
