The Middle Ages

Throughout this lesson students will  examine the daily life of people of different ranks during the Middle Ages. The teacher will present the students with images and literature of the Middle Ages in order to guide students to understand the feudal system that  governed in the Middle Ages. Students will also engage in strategies featured in Making Thinking Visible such as See-Think-Wonder and Headlines. In this Middle Ages lesson, students will also be engaged in a simulation that is not only meaningful, but that is also fun, by using M&M’s to help portray the feudal system and the importance of land.
